THE HOLY BIBLE

Books give opportunity to present thoughts, ideas, histories, stories, and solutions and problems, and such. It matters not if the book is digital, audio or printed. A book is a book. It is a written/vocal statement of some kind. In essence it is an answer, a statement, a solution, a problem, a history… the telling of a story.

The Bible is a book. It does all the aforementioned. It is an inspired book only, and only, as it revels the Inspired One, Jesus Christ. The stories, parables, proverbs, and the letters and prophecy are only as inspired as the topic: Jesus. Otherwise it is an exterior and physical ‘holy’ leather bound book of paper and ink. The more gold gilded pages, old English script or embedded gold crosses on the cover …the holier it is. That is not what makes it a Holy Bible. Jesus is what is makes it Holy. No Jesus, no Father, no Holy Spirit…no Holy Bible. Otherwise the presence of a Bible might become as iconic as a statue of Mary or Saint Francis, Mother Teresa or Buddha.

“You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.”
Ray Bradbury (1920-2012)

“Wherever books are burned men in the end will also burn.” Heinrich Heine (1797-1856) German poet and writer wrote in1823.

We must become the contents of the Bible not just carry the latest version under our arm or placed on our coffee table.

“Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot listen to my word.” Jesus
