Back in September I asked the Lord about an issue that I could only call Mental Indigestion. My mind and thinking just seemed to be soured and suffering from overload of wrong intake choices. Not unlike the feast yesterday around the Thanksgiving Table… it was good but too much of a good thing and no matter how good: indigestion.
What I heard from the Lord concerning this was a simple answer: Information Indigestion. The physical symptoms of indigestion are: burning in the stomach, abdominal pain, bloating (feeling full), nausea and vomiting, acidic taste, gas and a growling stomach. Each of these descriptions were perfect examples of what was going on mentally: burning brain, brain pain, bloating brain (feeling full), mental nausea, feeling sick, gas brain, mental acid and a growling mind. Perfect.
I know it is because of too much feeding on blogs, texts, reports, emails, reviews, books, articles, commentaries, news feeds, political analysis and all kinds of Information. The Information is giving me Indigestion. I have determined to thin it way down and out. I need to stop the nausea of Information that disguises as Knowledge and Knowledge that disguises as Wisdom.
But wouldn’t you know; “Now, new research has shown that Coca-Cola has a success rate of more than 90 per cent in treating the indigestion condition in the stomach. This is because it has chemical ingredients that do a similar job to gastric acid – in helping to digest fiber – while the bubbles help speed up the process.”
It is over to my side of the pond with this bloated feeling. I’m thinking this Coca-Cola thing also might work on the mind the same way. I will sit down by the water and sip a cold Coke and think about winter gardens and see what happens.
