Many of us have lived in the future with ideas and dreams of ‘one of these days.’ Nothing wrong with dreaming and believing for a future time… as long as ‘one of these days’ does not get in the way of today.
Epicurus (270 BC-341 BC) a Greek philosopher once wrote, “The fool, with all his other faults, has this also, he is always getting ready to live.”
Getting ready to live instead of living is a common and menacing practice. Live now… to live better later.
Jesus said, “ But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
