NEIGHBORHOOD LIGHTHOUSES

As followers of the Light of the World it seems like our homes and lifestyles should be like lighthouses in our neighborhoods. Places where darkness is dispelled, hope is offered, love is obvious, power to heal is present, a place to drive out demons, a safe harbor to drop anchor, a place of peace and justice…a place where our little light has been taken over and is shining on the Light of the World: Jesus.

The same light should be obvious at our jobs, schools or wherever… but for sure in our neighborhoods.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Jesus
