BISCUITS AND GRAVY
RECIPE #4 WHITE GRAVY
Biscuits and Gravy (white gravy and no sausage or bacon).
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper; cook until smooth and slightly browned. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling on medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir and boil 1 minute. Makes enough gravy for 6-8 biscuits…or about one, maybe two servings.
Cooked Sausage or bacon may be added if you want to ruin the gravy.
