Nakedness has no hiding. The desire of my heart is to so claim the freedom of the cross that my transparent self can be more fully exposed to others as it already is to the Father. Only Jesus can make us this butt naked. We cannot paint up, fix up, patch up, dye up, tattoo up, dress up, and mask up enough to be free and comfortable enough to be transparent. They are fig leaves all. Only the blood of Jesus can cover us for restored transparency.
Jesus said, “But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!” (Matthew 6:30)
Lord, clothe me so I can be butt naked in front of you. Remove the clothes and masks of hiding from the East of Eden and place me naked in Jesus in the original garden state. I so desire to walk naked in ‘the garden in the cool of the day and talk and fellowship’ with you my God in complete transparency and trust. May it be.
“Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Jesus
