Many years ago I developed a theory about the Garden of Eden. I have taught this theory (to me it is no longer a theory, but a proven fact) and explained it in various ways. It is called The Theory of Edenic Nature. It is a simple idea with far-reaching and complicated explanations. Basically the theory is that our deepest DNA is Edenic and back to the original condition of the garden. Even when we are not aware of our actions and thoughts we are in our inner self trying to either re-create Eden or to be in the fellowship and freedom of Eden.
We try to re-create Eden by landscaping our yards with trees, grass, flowers, bushes, rocks, fountains and vines. We plant, cultivate and mow and trim to have beautiful surroundings and properties that look like Eden. The more developed the balance of vines, trees, flowers, grass, rocks and water the more comfortable we are. The less our surroundings appear like Eden the less sensitive we are to returning to the original position. And, I believe, the less comfortable we are, period. We have more stress and tension when not in Edenic surroundings. Many times, if not most, this all goes on without our even knowing it.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” Jesus
