WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS
Paul, an apostle, wrote to the church at Corinth, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
Where the Spirit of the Lord is not present; neither is freedom. The right church does not make us free, the right doctrine in the right church does not make free, and the right clergy costumes in the right church with the right doctrine does not make us free…even with the right worship and right liturgy and in the right building in the right location.
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom” and if the Spirit is absent all the religious activity is man-made and made for man. God dwells and speaks by the Spirit.
“If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Jesus
