WHAT WE ALL WANT

As I recently meditated on these verses from the apostle Paul to the Corinthian Church, I quickly saw that he mentions five things we all want.

“And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” Second Letter to the Corinthians 1:21-22

What we all want:

God (the Father) to establish us.
To establish us with others in Christ.
To have the Father anoint us.
To have the seal of the Holy Spirit on us.
To have the guarantee of the Spirit in our hearts.

Lord, help us to receive what you offer us and want to give us.

“Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure.” Jesus
