WATER RUNS DOWNHILL

Water runs downhill or it doesn’t. When it doesn’t we call a plumber. An old experienced plumber and good friend once told me that he would never be out of work as long as somebody had water that did not run downhill. Water does run downhill…ask any plumber or ask anyone who needs a plumber.

There are just some things that are unchanging principles. Jesus said, “Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.  A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

Another unchanging principle: we cannot grow spiritually without dedicated time to silence, the Bible and prayer. If we assume we can we are also probably assuming that water can run uphill.
