WARS AND RUMORS OF WAR

Wars and Rumors of Wars is a statement mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24:6 and Mark 13:7. Both texts are quoting in context this statement: “For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.”

There are many false Christ’s and wars and rumors of wars… but the end is not yet.

Perhaps there are also Wars that are within the human psyche… the brain… the emotions… internal wars… like mass shootings, mass killings, mass opiates… mass cell phone games… mass diversions… mass overdoses of religion, drugs, games, sports, movies …any war.

There are plenty of the other kinds of Wars… nations verses nation, rockets verses rockets, army verses army and bomb verses bomb. But the end is not yet. When is it? No one knows but the Father. But there is also no need to help it along by reckless living.
