TRUST ME ON THIS ONE

It is common to hear someone say, “Trust me on this one.” One needs to trust the person before they can trust the ‘this one.’ I immediately seem to distrust anyone who needs to tell me to trust them. It only means I don’t know them. If I know someone I either trust them or I do not trust them no matter what they tell me.

‘Trust me on this one’… If you need to tell me to…I don’t. Simple as that.

I’m headed over to the other side of the Pond to have some Cuban Coffee and Ginger Snaps (I dunk them) and I will meditate on what makes a person trustworthy. I’m very sure it won’t be if they ask me to trust them.
