TRAIL BLAZERS
To tell a story or write a theme is to prepare a path. Our lifestyle and behaviors serve as verifications of the story we are telling and the trail we are blazing.
There are countless stories and themes to match our individual situations. If our stories and our trails are philosophical, human interest or technical… they are what they are. However, when it comes to trails and trailblazers of things spiritual and theological it is, or should be, another story.
Jesus taught that trail blazing was a very specific task. He said: “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14 NLT)
It appears that our own trail and the one we blaze and build for others is to be a narrow, difficult and solid trail…”it leads to life.”
“Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.” Jesus
