TO KNOW ABOUT JESUS
Recently I was thinking about the explosive, and sometimes not so explosive, way of our entrance into Jesus and His kingdom. Most people can remember when they had encounter with the Lord. For many it was natural and calm and without incidence. They were perhaps raised among Jesus believers and only knew such an environment. Even if later there was an escapade or two into disobedience, the familiar background and atmosphere was of believers. Others know no such background and became acquainted with the Lord through a witness of some kind, either a friend, colleague, relative, a camp, a retreat, watching television or radio, reading literature and tracts, or an appearance from the Lord Himself; but they came ‘to know about Jesus.’ It does not matter really ‘how’ we came, but that we came. Some paths are much easier than others. There is not a right way to do a wrong thing, and there is not a wrong way to do a right thing.
