THE ROAD TO LIFE
Common herd thinking will excuse and justify many things; like morality, position, honesty, character, and judgment into herd consensus, but that does not make it right or appropriate for the individual who is in the narrow way of the kingdom of God. The pressure of belonging and being a part is so great that faith and strength, given by the Holy Spirit, are our only weapons to fight such battles, and to have integrity for the narrow walk. There is really no difficulty in having and being three or four selves; the problem lies in having and being one self. If we are going to be mature, we have to be mature as individuals. We make our choice for the narrow side. It is narrow indeed, but it leads to life. And it is a life we will gladly lose for the new life we are given. It takes little shoes, big hearts and fighting faith to walk this narrow road.
We should pray for the unity of Christians, for the compromised and lost so this narrow way might have a little more traffic.
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.” Jesus
