THE REAL PRESENCE

The Russian Orthodox priest Anthony Bloom (1914-2003) once wrote, “There was once an eighteenth century priest who asked an aged peasant what he was doing during the hours and hours he spent sitting in the chapel. The old man replied, “I look at Him, and He looks at me, and we are happy.”

The real Presence brings mutual admiration and mutual happiness. Who could ask for more?
