THE LORD’S THOUGHTS AND WAYS

The prophet Isaiah (8th century BC) wrote,

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
(Book of Isaiah 55:8-9)

Though this text is true it also has a mystery in the sense that for those who love and know the Father it is expected that we know some of his thoughts and ways. They ‘are higher’ but we still as sons and daughters should know some of the ways of the house.

Perhaps they are not our thoughts or our ways…but when we slide into first base we need to know we at least touched and skimmed the bag.
