THE FRUIT OF THE LIGHT

There is a well known phrase from Galatians 5:22-23 called the Fruit of the Spirit, “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.”

There is a much lesser known phrase in Ephesians 5:8-10 called The Fruit of Light, “For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.”

Another version says, “for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.” Ephesians 5:9

So all right then…here’s what happens: anything that is not good, and right and true is not The Fruit of the Light. Therefore it would be the Fruit of Darkness. There seems to be no other choices.
