THE DIMMER SWITCH

“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see.
For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.
Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.
All nations will come to your light;
mighty kings will come to see your radiance.
“Look and see, for everyone is coming home!
Your sons are coming from distant lands;
your little daughters will be carried home.
Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy.”
(Isaiah 60:1-5)

”You are the light of the world.”
”Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify my Father.”
(Matthew 5:14, 16)

Many lights have been on dimmer switches…to shine as dimly and brightly as we have decided. I think the season of self-regulated light needs to end. The Father is saying, “I will control the switch for the light.”

When light is dim you can make out the objects but there is no clear definition. The light will now be brighter and expose all things…no dimmer switches over any areas. There is nothing in darkness that won’t be brought to the light.

“For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. But the one who practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God.” Jesus
