THE BREAD

There are all kinds of bread and I like most of them. It shows on me how much I like them. Bread is a staple in most cultures and has been for many centuries. I like to make bread. It is almost a sacred act for me.

But, I need bread that I can only get from The Bread.
The Bread who said I must “come and believe.”
John 6:35
“I am the bread that gives life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

John 6:33
“For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.”

John 6:50
“This is the bread, which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.”

John 6:51
“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

John 6:58
“This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.”

This Bread gives life to our spirit as the other bread gives life to our bodies. “Sir, give us this bread always.”

“For the bread that God gives is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Jesus
