TELL TWO

Tell Two has been a discipleship model for a long time. Paul, an apostle, wrote to his spiritual son Timothy:

“Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (2 Timothy 2:1-2)

Tell Two people who will Tell Two people who will Tell Two people… This is no ‘secret doctrine’ or ‘special gospel’ but is one that has ‘many witnesses.’ This is the way it is on the text content and the text numbers: 2 Timothy 2:2. We share with faithful men and women of integrity and sincerity who will then tell others. It is how I heard about Jesus and probably you as well. How else may we or anyone else hear unless someone tells them? “Be strong through the grace that God gives us in Christ Jesus.”
