TEETH BRUSHING
I have never liked brushing my teeth. This goes back to when I was a little mean kid. Just never liked it. I know it has to be done and I do it but I don’t like it. It seems very unclean. First we use a toothbrush and not a teeth brush and after each brushing we put the nasty thing back in the cabinet/drawer where it waits getting infected by who knows what until next time.
After each brushing I just think I should stick the toothbrush in a jar of gasoline, solvent, Clorox, hydrogen peroxide, boiling water, antiseptic, hand sanitizer or some other bacteria or germ killer… or better yet, invent and use a disposable brush each time I brush my teeth… that would only be one brush every week to ten days.
If that is not enough… then we are told to take a string and go in between our teeth and comb out little pieces of stuff we missed with the brush. This is sickening. I know, I know… it has to be done. I am considering a blindfold while brushing so I won’t see what is actually happening. I am not sure if bad breath is from the toothbrush or the little things that live in and around teeth. Halitosis to it all.
The American Dental Association suggests brushing two times daily for two minutes each time. Suggestion: One can do this without leaving the water running all of the four minutes and save millions of gallons of water.
I better go steam clean or power wash my toothbrush and get back over on my side of the pond.
