TAKING PILLS

It said on the side label of the medical prescription bottle: ‘Take 1 capsule by mouth twice daily.’ Every time I have read this, or something similar, I have wondered:
Do I take 2 capsules 1 time per day?
Do I take 2 days to take 1 capsule?
Do I take 2 capsules twice daily?
Do I take 1 capsule by mouth and 1 capsule daily?
Do I take 2 capsules daily and 1 by mouth?
Do I take 1 capsule in two mouths?
Do I take twice as many by mouth as daily?
So how many pills do I take for how many days?

Why not: Take one pill in the morning and one pill in the evening every day?

I suppose that I have these troubles because I did not go to Pill School and learn how to read and write confusing medical instructions.

Roz says I need to get back over on the other side of the pond and take my meds because it is very apparent that I need them.
