SUPER STAR

I was recently reading another article about the amazing Iowa college basketball star Caitlyn Clark. There is little left to say that has not been said ten thousand times before. She is a one in a lifetime star athlete. At twenty-two years old after four years at the University of Iowa she has broken multiple records and especially the scoring record. She ended her career with 3,951 points. She averaged 31.6 points per game this season and 28.4 over 139 career games.

The comments I liked the most were from her dad/coach and her high school coach Kristin Meyer both saying: “She plays the game differently.” She is now a professional player with the Indiana Fever of the Women’s National Basketball Association.

Maybe it would help our game if we could learn ‘to play the game differently.’
