STARTING OVER
Every year about this time many folks decide to start over with habits and behaviors that are better than last year’s. This usually involves eating healthier; more exercise, getting better sleep, reading more books, less time on media and gadgets, less time on TV and all such things.
It reminded me of a story I read about a woman that wanted to start a new exercise program. She said:
“I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape,
so I got my doctor’s permission to join a fitness club and start exercising.
I decided to take the aerobics class for seniors.
I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and
perspired for an hour. But,
by the time I got my leotards on,
the class was over.”
We still may need to start over in some areas.
“But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” Jesus
