SPORTS BETTING

Betting on sports is nothing new, but the way it is now encouraged is very concerning. There have always been bookies and places to place bets…besides Las Vegas. But now it has increased at a faster pace than casinos and casino betting. Now it is legal on all fronts with multiple Internet sites. Professional, college and all other events can be wagered. Americans gambled $66.5 billion in 2023 and $11 billion on sports alone.

It is like the prophet Ezekiel said: ‘Internet sports betting may become an addiction and a bad choice.’

Then, wouldn’t you know it… in the night I saw the Lord wearing a jersey with my name and number on it and saying ‘We’re Number One.’ Go figure. I like the odds on this deal.
