SICK AND TIRED

It is Fannie Lou Hamer (1917-1977) the Civil Rights Activist that is credited with coining the phrase, “I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.”  I too, am sick and tired:

I am sick and tired of school boy/little boy politics.
I am sick and tired of dead religion.
I am sick and tired of systematic church.
I am sick and tired of a divided nation.
I am sick and tired of talking heads.
I am sick and tired of cell phones.
I am sick and tired of Amazon, Google and Starbucks.
I am sick and tired of Congress not being Congress.
I am sick and tired of New Age and empty philosophy.
I am sick and tired of empire and war.
I am sick and tired of cruel/shallow media.
I am sick and tired of pizza commercials.
I am sick and tired of auto commercials.
I am sick and tired of insurance commerials.
I am sick and tired of medicine/drug commercials.
I am sick and tired of professional sports.
I am sick and tired of how commercially raised chickens are treated. (Add: cows and pigs)
I am sick and tired of making this sick and tired list….

If one is sick and tired one needs to get well and get rest. That’s what I plan to do.
