SEVEN SOCIAL SINS
I recently saw this published again and I have published here in the Journal a time or two over the past few years… but it is always worth a re-visit.
On October 22, 1925, Mahatma Gandhi published a list of what he called “Seven Social Sins” in his weekly newspaper ‘Young India.’ Gandhi’s social sins:
Politics without principles.
Wealth without work.
Pleasure without conscience.
Knowledge without character.
Commerce without morality.
Science without humanity.
Worship without sacrifice.
