SEEKING GOD

“Seek then the highest wisdom, not by arguments in words but by the perfection of your life…If you search by means of discussions for the God who cannot be defined in words, He will depart further from you than he was before,” wrote Saint Columban (543-615), Irish priest and missionary.

The key here is to live the gospel and a Godly life instead of living only in discussions about it. I know when I was much younger it was my habit and desire to ‘talk’ about the things of God, about the presence of God and such… now my preference is to let my life and habits… the way I live, the way I write, think and pray be my defense and justification for believing in Jesus and seeking the Father.
