RESPONSIBLE FOR BELIEVING
Not long ago this word came to me:
If we believe in Jesus…we have the responsibility of believing in Jesus.
If we do not believe in Jesus…we have the responsibility of not believing in Jesus.
Either way…we have the responsibility of our decisions.
There are other conditions for a person other than the ones I have mentioned. For example in the Letter to the Romans, the apostle Paul mentions, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”
So those who do not believe in Jesus because they have never heard of him are also responsible to God and are “without excuse” because of God’s power and divine nature. We have the responsibility of our decisions.
“If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” Jesus
