PLEASURES EVERMORE

Not long ago I meditated in the Psalms for days as I have often done through the years. There is much rich wisdom and great comfort in the Psalms.

In one of the early Psalms (16:11) I read “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures for evermore.” I was taken by this simple and complete statement, ‘you make known to me the path of life, in your presence there is fullness of joy and at your right hand are pleasures evermore.’

As a young man I needed to ‘get saved’ or ‘restored’ about every third time there was an invitation song and an altar call… because of my view of the Father. Now, thank the Lord, his presence is full off joy and he has pleasures for me… and I know it. I am a son.
