TOXIC PEOPLE

Charles Burchfield wrote, (concerning the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, Matthew 18:23-25)

“I think you can forgive anyone anything… but it’s very dangerous to trust somebody who hasn’t changed. Sometimes you have to call the police.
He continues, “Common signs a person is toxic:
You’re left feeling emotionally exhausted after an encounter with them…
They try to intimidate you to get their way…
They try to control you by guilt tripping…
They are easily jealous…
They can’t take ‘no’ for an answer…
They constantly see themselves as a victim…
They give backhanded compliments…
They have no respect for boundaries.”

That pretty well nails it.
