PARTY PRAYER
Party Prayer is from a list of words I wrote in 2000 as part of the things I was sensing at the time. Much of the list had a Party Theme to it. This has come back to me again, as a much needed focus and prayer. We need to Party! Here’s the word from 24 years ago:
“We will move from the somber, burden heavy, travail…to a Sense of Release in prayer. It is prayer like in the Tabernacle of David:
Party Prayer- to dance, clap and sing to Victory.
Party Prayer is full of Faith and Victory.
In our spirits we will ‘dance and sing’ around the nations we want taken for the kingdom.
The Lord is the same…the Need is the same…the Urgency the same…
But, the Praying and Prayer are Different
Christ is the Burden Bearer…not us.
This will get rid of the Self Accomplishment of the Prayer Movement.
This will get rid of Super Spiritualness.
This will get rid of Comparison.
This will be done by understanding Isaiah 53-54:
Christ has taken upon Himself Sickness, Sin and Death… and in 53:11…He has taken on Travail.
We do not need to have ‘labor pains’ travail. ”It is finished.” Travail can be a sly form of works and flesh, or personality in Prayer. He has Travailed…we walk in and claim His “Travail of soul” 53:11a.
Chapter 54 continues: ”Shout for joy”, O barren one”…PARTY! (Sing) for joy- PARTY!
”Break forth in joyful shouting and cry aloud” PARTY!
”Sons of the desolate (destroyed, disappointed, appalled) will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman, says the Lord.”
Miraculous Increase… out of our PARTY HEARTS.”
(Words for 2000, Ben Fike)
“We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.” Jesus
