ORGANICALLY SPEAKING
I just figured this out after about 20 years of access to Organic Fruits and Vegetables: There are Organic insecticides and fertilizers for Organic fruits and vegetables! The wormholes in Organic vegetables are really just small openings for human intervention of thought and mindfulness. The same with Fruit: the spots, specks and holes are only layers of inter-connectedness with the human and the plant: bio-synthesis and integrity of species with species…(I learned all of this listening to people talk while shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Sprout’s) I am all for good and organic food…I think.
Organic defined: “Simply stated, organic produce and other ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. Animals that produce meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products do not take antibiotics or growth hormones.”
One other defining thing: because all of these products are left out of the production of vegetables and fruit, meat and diary and such, they cost two to three times as much. Why? Because less is more. Now, that makes sense.
I find that concentration on Organic foods makes me want to go to Taco Bell … or to an In-and-Out Burger and get a couple of burgers with cheese.
So after Taco Bell I stopped and bought some Organic gasoline for my car, which helps with negative exhaust emissions…on my way to the Farmer’s Market where there were no farmers, only vendors. Oh well…I better take a nap after those Tacos.
