MORE REDISTRIBUTION
What one person has by fair and honest work belongs only to that person. Because a person has been successful does mean they are mandated to share that success with anyone else unless they choose to do so. To force a person through unfair taxation and unfair politics and policies is just that: unfair. The only fair policy is distribution by choice.
“Redistribution of income and redistribution of wealth are respectively the transfer of income and of wealth (including physical property) from some individuals to others by means of a social mechanism such as taxation, charity, welfare, public services , land reform, monetary policies, confiscation, divorce or tort law. The term typically refers to redistribution on an economy-wide basis rather than between selected individuals. Interpretations of the phrase vary, depending on personal perspectives, political ideologies and the selective use of statistics. It is frequently heard in politics, usually referring to perceived redistributions from those who have more to those who have less.” (Wikipedia)
If I have two ice cream cones I am not under obligation to give you one of them…unless by my discernment and decision I chose to do so. That goes for my tunics and food as well. Another has no right or privilege or entitlement to my ice cream except by my gift, comrade. Again, the answer is not redistribution but learning and practicing Kingdom giving and recieving.
“Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” Jesus
