MANY SIDES
There are many sides to most stories. What somebody said happened, what others think happened, what I think happened, what the big books say happened and what actually happened.
Perhaps there is some truth, some facts, in each account of what happened. It is difficult to ‘know for sure’ about how certain things happened. All the sides of the story may not be the same but the story may be the same story.
This reasoning is also obvious concerning the testimony, evidence, documentation and information about Jesus and the Gospel of the Kingdom, especially what is recorded in the Bible. There are many opinions and many sides to each story especially from external evidence. I have determined that there is not a ‘know for sure’ side or answer except this: by faith we believe in Jesus Christ, or we are trying to believe or do not believe at all.
Again, we read the Bible with ‘common sense’ until it does not make sense…then we try to get help.
“Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
“Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” Jesus
