LEARNING TO SING

Little birds learn to sing listening to their parents. Little giraffes learn giraffe talk from their parents.
Little fish learn fish talk from their parents.
Little humans learn to speak listening to their parents.

It seems wise to choose our words carefully when we speak so that our children will hear right messages. Nearly everyone shares some guilt and regret at things we wish we had not said. Hey, we can’t go back.

Here is the heavy part of this idea: This never ends. It is important to speak right messages to our children as long as they will listen to us. From the time they are babies and on into their adult years. This perhaps causes us to control our tongues like nothing else. It will also cause and teach the discerning to pray. Just speaking to children is cause for great advancement in our prayer lives, enabling the Holy Spirit to speak through us.
