I KNOW
Within the last two years or so, the new reply to almost any conversational statement or question is: I Know. So hardly anything is not known by everyone and this makes trying to have conversation short and sweet… if not unnecessary. There is no need to say much or ask much because everybody already knows everything.
The answer to comments about sports, weather, politics, media, famous people, latest scandals, movies, books, animals, religion… whatever… is: I Know.
The fact is everyone is Googlized and I-Phoned and has every fact about everything at a moments recall. Therefore it is natural and normal to hear: I Know, because it seems everybody does know everything.
This is not new. The apostle Paul said centuries ago: “But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me.” In all of our knowing of what we know we surely need to know what Paul knew.
“And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” Jesus
