HOLINESS

Holiness is a process. As we live in liberation and truth, we are “perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1). Glory! This is not a process of any kind of works, but strictly of grace. Only by the Spirit of the Lord can we become acceptable to the Lord. Separation unto God is done by God and through our submission. It is by “sanctification of the Spirit and belief of truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:13), and by “sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:2). The Holy Spirit is the great Purifier and Separator. Truth and Obedience usher in Holiness.
No wonder the enemy so resists any move of the Spirit large or small. No wonder the Holy Spirit is so excited to gift and form us in the ways of Jesus making us holy like he is holy.
