HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

When things are headed in the right direction…means they are headed in the direction I think is right…my direction… any other direction is surely not the right direction. Of course, it could hardly be any other way. If I don’t know a direction that I suppose is the right one then I don’t know where I am going.

There is a Standard for right direction… scripture. But even scripture can be turned and tossed to mean what we want it to mean instead of what was intended. This is certainly true if scripture verifies the right direction, as I perceive it. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

The way of “faith, hope and love” is a good place to look for direction. Is the direction filled with faith, based in hope and depending on love?… then it is probably close to the right direction.
