RIGHT HAND LORD
In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus said, “But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” (Luke 22:69)
In the book of Colossians, Paul wrote, “So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” (Colossians 3:1)
Paul also wrote to the Romans, “God is the one who justifies. Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.”
(Romans 8:33-34)
David wrote in the Psalms, “I keep the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore, my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure” (Psalm 16:8-9)
I especially like David’s comment because he says that the ‘right hand Lord’ makes his heart glad, his soul rejoice and his body secure. All of this while interceding for us at the right hand of the Father. What a Lord….
“Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
“I am,” said Jesus, “and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Jesus
