GREAT AND MARVELOUS
Moses sang in Exodus 15 the song of victory for Israel because they were delivered from the pursuing Egyptians. The apostle John calls this The Song of the Lamb as a song of victory for Christians over the final wrath of God in The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Chapter 15.
“And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
“Great and marvelous are Your works,
O Lord God, the Almighty;
Righteous and true are Your ways,
King of the nations!
Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy;
For all the nations will come and worship before You,
For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
They sang both songs: one to remember the past and one to remember the present. So must we.
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Jesus
