GRAVEYARD EXPERIENCE
We sometimes consider what we are going through as a graveyard experience because it seems so deep, so crushing and so permanent with no way out. It is dark and lonely. As graveyards remind us… it feels like death.
Many of the graves we need pulled out of are the ones we dug ourselves for ourselves… not always. Sometimes circumstance and actions beyond our control can cause huge problems. Whether it is a bad decision, a divorce, a debt, a disease or some other debility… we can feel dead and living in grave clothes.
But regardless of how we got to the graveyard experience we need help before it might become final. Help like Jesus gave Lazarus, “Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!” (John 11:43-44)
We must be resurrection ready… for Jesus the Grave Robber to come and destroy our Graveyard Experiences. We need to hear and experience, ‘Unwrap him and let him go.’
“Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.” Jesus
