GOD LOVES EVERYONE
There is a cultural concept that God loves everyone regardless whether we love in return. This is of course true because we are not really part of the equation that God loves everyone until we reciprocate and believe and receive it and make it personal rather than concept. God loves if we never do. So, in that sense God does love everyone.
To truly understand the love of the Lord is to have a revelation of Jesus Christ. This can happen by Jesus appearing to us in full disclosure or more commonly by the written testimony of scripture or from the witness of another person. Basic Kingdom Christianity is based on historical biblical truths and knowledge. It is more than being ‘good people’ that do ‘good things’ for others (although that is important). This would equate to being good is being a Christian. Being good is not why God loves everyone. God loves everyone…period. But to be reconciled to this great Lover is to accept his offered gift of love: Jesus. By this gift we have a reconciled and reciprocated love. It is not because we did something but because the Father did something.
Cultural Christianity is at best humanism and is lived out as moralism. Kingdom Christianity is bound and driven by the rule and reign of a loving Father and manifested to us by his loving Son through the power of the loving Holy Spirit. Then…we live in love.
“The Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.” Jesus
