FROM HEAD TO TOE

Recently I clearly heard the message, ‘We are moving from head to toe.’

I instantly knew this meant moving from a gospel that is in ‘the head’ full of knowledge and words, terms, doctrines, ideas, and creeds, but mainly just words; and going to the ‘the toe which represents the feet.’

Isaiah, a prophet, wrote, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!”

The apostle Paul wrote, “And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.” (Amplified Version)

Then I saw the term ‘Holy Feet’ and I think this was indicating that the feet must be made holy for carrying the gospel to all people the same way we have taken great care to prepare ‘the head’ with knowledge, we must now prepare the feet with guidance. This means learning our direction or where we are to go and what we are to do when we get there.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Jesus
