FAITH IN REALITY
Many times it is difficult to live, work and think about the time and conditions we live in and not only how we wish things were. It requires faith for our current reality.
We need reality about our own condition. We need faith to calm our own waters…. Whether the Sea of Galilee or the Bethesda Pool… whether a storm or a healing, it is usually mental before it is physical just like the gospel story… sometimes there is no one to help. We may not be capable of getting a grip on how to calm our seas or get into the pool for healing. Though this may be the reality… so is this: cry out to the Lord for help. Ask others for help.
Our reality is: “I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”
“Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” (Mark 4:39)
“Would you like to get well?” Jesus
