DREAMS OF FAITH
While we are asleep or awake we often dream. These dreams produce faith by believing what we have dreamed to be true and a part of our reality. This takes us a step or two beyond planning, calculating, projections and pragmatism. Dreams are not always practical, but neither is faith. As the Book of Hebrews tells us, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for (dreamed for), the conviction of things not seen (seen by faith).”
“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter,
and our tongue with shouts of joy;
then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us,
and we rejoiced.” Psalm 126:1-3
“For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Jesus
