DEALING WITH THE UNBELIEVER

In dealing with the unbeliever I don’t mean the person who does not believe what I believe or is opposed to my thoughts on the Lord, or scripture, or the Christ-life. Not that unbeliever.
I am dealing with the unbeliever in me. With all the parts in me that are filled with unbelief, fear, intimidation, frustration, doubt, regret, guilt…etc. I am dealing this unbeliever.

I sometimes feel like the father of the boy with convulsions who was thrown to the ground foaming at the mouth, sometimes thrown into fire or water to be destroyed who asked Jesus to heal his son. He said, “If you can.” Jesus said to this man, “If you can! All things are possible to him who believes.”
The man simply replied: “I do believe; help my unbelief.” (Mark 9:20-25)

Ditto, Lord.

The Lord has no boundary between the possible and impossible.
