These little spiders truly are ‘wise as serpents and innocent as doves’ hiding and waiting in their web. After reading this I looked up the spider mentioned above and of all things the article said they were harmless… their bites were not significant. So, right there you know this whole spider story is crazy. To even see a spider is harmful and significant to our heart rhythms. The only good spider, harmless spider…is a dead one. It doesn’t matter if they bite, bait fireflies, or build extravagant webs… they are spiders. There should be no spiders. No spiders… clever or not.

I’m pretty sure the following verse means it is OK to kill spiders on the Sabbath:

“I ask you, is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it?” Jesus
