CLEAN THEOLOGY
Recently I bought a food product in an effort to ‘eat clean’ by being more careful about what we eat. I started checking the labels on stuff to see what was in what we were buying. That’s a pretty Scary Mary thing to do. The packaging for this product read:
Sulfite free.
No artificial flavors.
No artificial colors.
All natural.
Certified Non-GMO.
Certified Vegan.
Gluten free.
High in Antioxidants.
No Sugar added.
Kosher.
Cruelty Free.
No Antibiotics.
No Hormones.
No Chemicals.
Sustainable.
Free Range.
No Pesticides.
No Herbicides.
No Irradiation.
Environmentally Safe.
Labor Sensitive.
No Toxins.
No plastic Packaging.
Fair Trade.
There you have it. I bought three of them. Now I am just looking for a religion and theology that is this pure and clean for the consumer as this food.
“You [spiritually] blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the plate [examine and change your inner self to conform to God’s precepts], so that the outside [your public life and deeds] may be clean also.” (Amplified Bible) Jesus
